To further enhance rider safety, SPARK has improved its airbag vest.

As a result of this development, the Spark 2 Airbag Vest is even more efficient:

Equipped with a new trigger system, it inflates in under 250 ms.
The residual impact energy ranges from 1351 N to 8719 N depending on the vest size. This measurement, which must be below 18,000 N to meet CRITT approval, ensures Level 2 protection once inflated.
Made from 600-denier nylon, it is strong and highly resistant to wear.
The saddle attachment strap is quick and easy to connect and adjust.
A third front clip has been added for improved stability.
Thanks to these improvements, SPARK has developed a high-performance airbag vest at the lowest price on the market, while still providing maximum safety for riders across all disciplines.

The Spark 2 Airbag Vest offers optimal protection for the rider in the event of a fall.

Attached to the saddle by a cord, the vest inflates instantly when the rider becomes separated from the horse.

Equipped with a refillable CO₂ cartridge, the Spark 2 protects the rider’s upper body — from the cervical spine to the tailbone — thanks to an inflatable cushion filled with gas upon activation.

Once inflated, the vest absorbs impact, cushioning the rider’s landing and keeping the head aligned with the spine.

The Spark 2 Airbag Vest is designed to be worn in all weather conditions, as the outermost layer to ensure its effectiveness. It features reflective piping for increased visibility.

For added comfort, it is lightweight, allows full arm movement, and includes mesh zones for better breathability.

CE Certification – The Spark 2 Airbag Vest is certified by CRITT. Airbag vests are classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

In eventing (CCE), the Spark 2 may be worn in official competition only when paired with a protective vest meeting current standards — specifically CE EN 13158:2009 BETA Level 3.

The Spark 2 Airbag Vest is sold complete with a saddle attachment strap and a Spark CO₂ cartridge:

• 45 g for child sizes XXS and XS

• 50 g for adult sizes S and M

• 74 g for adult sizes L and XL

Warning: To ensure proper operation, this vest must be used exclusively with Spark-brand cartridges.

Using cartridges from another brand or of the wrong size voids all warranties and manufacturer responsibility.
The user accepts full responsibility when using non-Spark cartridges or cartridges that do not match the vest size.
